Supper Clubs

Our regular supper clubs are a fantastic chance for Banstead foodies to enjoy top quality food from some incredibly talented chefs. CHAI’s intimate, striking and chilled setting lends itself perfectly to a night of excellent flavours, wine and specially selected cocktails.

From a CHAI supper club, you can expect the opportunity to embark on a culinary journey from leading chefs who have worked around the world at top 5* hotels and restaurants. So far we have had MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist Charith Mallawa cooking a Sri Lankan feast, ant&greg with their modern eclectic and innovative style and Richie Tewnion with his Middle Eastern influenced food.

The chefs each design a tasting style menu with their signature dishes for you and we choose a complimenting cocktail and wine choice, which are available to purchase on the night. On the evening the chefs always give a short talk about their menu and of course after service are happy to have a chat and answer any questions.

A Taste of Goa

Due to high demand we are excited to welcome back the incredibly creative Linda de Melo for another evening of delicious Goan cuisine.

On the evening, you will be treated to a Goan feast with Linda’s incredible, vibrant, and colourful dishes served in the intimate, chilled and striking setting of Café CHAI.

The tasting menu features some of Linda’s signature creations including chef’s favourite Jirrem Mirrem Chicken.

A Taste of Sri Lanka

Due to the popularity of our ‘Taste of Sri Lanka’ Supper Clubs by Charith Mallawa, (semi-finalist of ‘MasterChef: The Professionals 2021), we are super excited to welcome him back to host our April Supper Club.

On the evening, you will be transported to Sri Lanka with Charith’s incredible, vibrant, and colourful dishes served in the intimate, chilled and striking setting of Café CHAI.

The five-course tasting menu features some of Charith’s delicious creations including his signature Slow Braised Beef and Jaggry Curry.

As always, spaces are limited and tend to sell out quickly (the last was less than 12 hours!) so if you would like to join us we recommend booking your tickets as soon as possible.
